Willie Womack

Mr. Willie G. Womack, 82 of New York, New York departed this life Wednesday, October 2, 2024 in Centra Lynchburg General Hospital.

He was born January 7, 1942 in Pittsylvania County, VA. He was the son of the late Russell and Fannie Stone Womack-Wimbush. He was formally married to Parthenia Jones.

He leaves to cherish his memory a loving daughter, Jacqueline Womack of New Jersey; a granddaughter, Chantay Nicole Lynch; a great-granddaughter, Abria Janea Lynch; two brothers, James Womack (Madie) of Ringgold, VA and Neal Wimbush (Edith) of Callands, VA; a sister, Stella Walton; a special caregiver, Mildred Mitchell; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, October 8, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. from Macedonia Baptist Church with Rev. Paul Lacy, Eulogist. Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery, Chatham, VA
