William G. (Billy) Tucker

William G. Tucker (Billy), 77, formerly of 262 Lanier Lane, Chatham, Virginia died Thursday, August 24, 2017 in Danville Regional Medical Center.

He was born April 1, 1940 in Pittsylvania County. He was the son of the late William and Adele Tucker.

He was a member of Wilson Memorial Baptist Church, and a member of the Usher Board.

Survivors include a host of cousins and his care givers, Joyce Wooding and Lillie M. Bagley.

Funeral Service for Mr. Tucker will conducted Monday, August 28, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Howerton Funeral Home by Rev. Anthony McClary. Burial will be in Bell Grove Primitive Church Cemetery.

Viewing will Sunday from 4-6 p.m. at the funeral home.
