Obituary

Mr. Welton Willard Bishop, Jr., 59, of 500 North Point Lane, Danville, Virginia, departed this life Monday, January 31, 2022 at his residence.

Born June 24, 1962, in Washington, D.C., he was the son of the late Welton W. Bishop Sr. and Jerlene White who survives.

He was of the Catholic Faith, and was employed by National Electric Contractors, in Washington, D.C.

In addition to his mother and step-dad Hubert Bennett of Blairs, VA; he is survived by one brother; Joseph Bishop of Washington, D.C.; two sisters; Jacqueline B. Hopkins of N.C. and Julie Bower of Hyattsville, Maryland; a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Funeral services will conducted on February 5, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Howerton Funeral Home with Bishop Larry Robertson, Eulogist.

Viewing will be on February 5, 2022 at 12:00 p.m. one hour before service.

Masks are required for all services.

Howerton Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
