Walter Jones Obituary

Mr. Walter Jones, 61, of 204 Roach-Moore Lane, Chatham, VA, departed this life Saturday, May 8, 2019 in Lynchburg General Hospital.
He was born November 30 1957 in Pittsylvania County, Virginia. He was the son of the late Woodrow W. Sr., and Ruby A. Jones.
He was of the Holiness Faith, and a veteran of the United States Army.
Survivors include two brothers, Woodrow Jones Jr., Bridgeport, CN, and John W. Jones (Sandra), of Chatham, VA; three sisters, Mary Hubbard, of Hendersonville, TN, Lillie Townes, of Chatham, VA, and Thelma Echols (Richard), of Blairs, VA; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be Saturday, June 15, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Howerton Funeral Home by Minister Kayna D. Hubbard.
The family is at the residence of his sister, Lillie Townes, 109 Chatham Elementary Lane, Chatham.
