Tyrone Herndon

Tyrone Herndon, 57, 1489 Waller Lane, Dry Fork, Virginia, departed this life Monday, January 20, 2020 at his residence.

He was born October 17, 1962 in Pittsylvania County, VA. He was the son of the late James and Roberta Price Herndon. He was married to Tracy Hairston.

In addition to his parents he was predeceased by two children, Tyrone and Antonio Herndon; four sisters, Kathleen Carter, Cynthia Jones, Faye Jefferies, Brenda Rogers; two brothers, Robert and Curtis Herndon.

Survivors include two sisters, Barbara Jones, Chatham, VA and Loretta Madison (Wydell), Oxnard, CA; one brother, William Herndon (Eunice), Danville, VA; a devoted aunt, Irene Yarbrough, Dry Fork, VA; a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be Sunday, January 26, 2020 at 2 p.m. from the Chapel of Howerton Funeral Home by Rev. Marlon Glass.

Viewing will from 1-4 p.m. Saturday, January 25, 2020 at the funeral home.
