Timothy R. Thompson

Mr. Timothy R. Thompson, 62, of 134 Piney Forest Road, Danville, Virginia, passed away Monday July 9, 2018 in Salem Veteran Hospital. He was born August 29, 1955 in Pittsylvania County, Virginia. He was the son of the late Randolph and Rebecca Thompson.
He was a member of Shockoe Baptist Church and a Veteran of the United States Air Force and Marines.
Survivors include two sons, Shaun and Christian Thompson, of Charlotte, NC; two grandchildren, Sophia and Ryland Thompson; a brother, Randolph Thompson Jr. (JoAnn), of Java, Virginia; two sisters, Hazel Livingston (Arthur), of Washington, DC, and L. Portia Fitzgerald (Willie), of Chatham, Virginia.; one aunt, Jeanie Mae Lipford, of Milton, NC; nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
Funeral service for Mr. Thompson will be conducted Thursday, July 12, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. from the Chapel of Howerton Funeral Home by Rev. Antonel Myler Sr.
Viewing will be one hour prior to service.
