Tammie Smith

Ms. Tammie Frances Smith, of 872 Hickory Road, Chatham, Virginia passed Monday, October 10, 2022 at her residence.

She was born August 2, 1946 in Chatham, Virginia. Tammie was the daughter of the late Willie C. Anderson and the late Lucinda Johnson Anderson. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by a brother, Wilford Johnson Anderson.

She attended public schools in Chatham, VA and New Rochelle, NY.

She leaves to cherish her memories a daughter, Tammie Frances Anderson of Detroit, MI.; a sister, Lucinda (Stephen) Leonard, of Mt. Vernon, New York, three nieces, five nephews, a host of cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be Saturday, October 15, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Howerton Funeral Home Chatham, VA with Evangelist Annette Walker, Eulogist. Visitation will be one hour prior to service.

Masks are required for all services.
