Sharon Bennett

Ms. Sharon Bennett, 64, of 1463 Aspen St. Danville, VA departed this life on November 12, 2021 at her residence.

She was born August 23, 1957 in Pittsylvania County, VA to Nellie B. Davis and the late Robert C. Davis.

She was a member of Cherrystone Baptist Church.

In addition to her parent she was predeceased, by her siblings, Katherine Ferrell, Gloria Goggins, Timothy, and Fred C. Davis.

Survivors include her mother Nellie V. Davis of Gretna, VA; two sons, Percy Bennett, Jr. (Karessa) of Chatham, VA and Robert A. Bennett of Danville, VA; one daughter, Petrina Bracey, of Danville, Virginia; three brothers, Robert C. Davis Jr. (Carrie) of Callands,VA, Donald R. Davis, of Gretna, VA, and Anthony Davis (Geraldine) of Chatham, VA; five sisters, Irene Patrick, of Delaware, Linda Miller (Dennis) and Jamie Smith (Jeffrey) of Richmond, VA, Mildred Davis (Howard) of Chatham VA, Rachel Hunt of Gretna, VA; ten grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, November 19, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Howerton Funeral Home with Rev. Alfred Younger, Eulogist.

Viewing will be held Thursday, November 18, 2021 from 4-6 p.m.

In accordance to CDC guidelines mask are required for all services.
