Samuel Richardson III

Mr. Samuel Richardson III, 61, passed away Tuesday, April 20, 2021 at his residence in Maryland.

He was born August 3, 1959 in Halifax County, Virginia. He was the son of the late Samuel Richardson Jr. and the late Edna Lee Williams Richardson.

He was a member of Mountain Grove Missionary Baptist Church. He attended Halifax County Public Schools, and was employed by Department of Commerce Bureau of Economic Analysis.

Samuel is survived by a daughter, Takia Richardson, of Suitland, Maryland, a sister, Felicia Richardson, of Delaware; a brother, Berrick Richardson, Washington, DC; one niece, Tiffany Brown, three great nieces, Asasia, Myra and Jari; other relatives and friends.

Graveside service will be Wednesday, April 28, 2021at 1 p.m.in Mountain Grove Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery by Rev. Carmina Eder and Elder William Howerton.

Viewing will be Tuesday, April 27, 2021 from 4-6 p.m. from the Chapel of Howerton Funeral Home.
