Mr. Roy Averett, 64, of Beavers Mill Road, Danville, Virginia, passed away Friday, February 12, 2021 in SOVAH Health Center, Danville, Virginia.
He was born September 1, 1956 in Pittsylvania County. He was the son of the late George and Pearl Wilson Averett.
He was of the Baptist Faith and was retired from Dan River Mills Inc., and AW North Carolina.
He is survived by three sons, Keith Davis, Charlotte, NC, Monte Davis, Atlanta, GA, and Todd Davis, Danville, VA; two daughters, Monica Davis (Elliot), and Stephanie Pinkney, all of Danville, VA; 10 grandchildren, one great grandchild; three brothers, Eric Averett, Ringgold, VA, and James Averett, Richmond, VA, and Percy Averett of Danville, VA; one sister Pamela Averett, Danville, VA; nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
A viewing will be Thursday, February 18, 2021 from 4-7 p.m. from the chapel of Howerton Funeral Home.
Funeral service for Mr. Averett will be Friday, February 19, 2012 at 2 p.m. from Howerton Funeral Home with Rev. Clarence McLaughlin , officiating.
