Raymond Tunstall

Raymond Tunstall 74, of 2087 Pleasant Gap Drive, departed this life on Sunday October 15, 2017 at the Chatham Health & Rehabilitation Center.
He was born on August 17, 1943 in Pittsylvania County, to the late William and Sally Motley Tunstall.
He was a member of the White Oak Grove Baptist Church. He was employed by New York City Hospital as a police officer.
He is survived by three sons, Steve West (Danville), Michael Tunstall (Shawn) Bronx New York, and Keith Tunstall (Dawn) of Cury NC; one daughter Dawn Stokes (Roland) Raleigh NC; 10 grand-children, 4 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Jean Dickerson, Dry Fork, VA, Joyce Fletcher and Angela Horten, both of Washington, DC., other relatives and friends.
Funeral service will be Saturday October 21, 2017, at 12 noon from the Chapel of Howerton Funeral Home, by Rev. Leroy Thomas. Burial will be in the Tunstall Family Cemetery, Dry Fork, Va.
Viewing will be one hour prior to service.
