Phebie Witcher

Mrs. Phebie Ann Witcher, 64, of 512 Neighborhood Road, Chatham, Virginia, passed away Monday, December 15, 2025 in Centra Gretna Medical Center.

She was born November 28, 1961 in New York. She was the daughter of the late Walter and Margaret Glass Witcher. She was predeceased by her daughter, Latoya Witcher. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Robert and Percy Thompson and her sister, Rosa Thompson. She was married to Carl Witcher, who survives.

She was employed by Chatham Health and Rehab as a dietitian.

She was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to her husband of the residence, she leaves to cherish her precious memories, her daughter, Karessa Witcher (Percy) of Chatham, VA; her son, Rashad Thompson (Breyonna Craft) of Greensboro, NC; step-son, Carl L. West (Tammy) of Danville, VA and two bonus sons, Travis Witcher and Gary Oakes; two brothers, Walter and Jimmy Thompson of Chatham, VA; fourteen grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, December 20, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Howerton Funeral Home with Rev. Alfred Younger, Eulogist.

Visitation will be one hour prior to service.
