Pearlie Fitzgerald

Mrs. Pearlie Fitzgerald, 61, formerly of Chatham, VA now of 2163 Victoria Place, Lithonia, GA departed this life Saturday, January 17, 2026 in Grady Hospital, Atlanta, GA.

She was born April, 9, 1964 in Pittsylvania County. She was the daughter of the late Russell and Eula Anderson Fitzgerald. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, John David (Toe) Fitzgerald.

She was of the Baptist Faith.

She leaves to cherish her memories two sons, Rudi Pangad of Lithonia, GA and Theotis Johnson (Denise) of Aylett, VA; three brothers, Conwallace (Patricia) and Russell Fitzgerald both of Chatham, VA and James Fitzgerald of Danville, VA; two sisters, Deloris Harris (Tony) and Arletha Robinson (Michael) both of Chatham, VA; one half- brother, Bradford Jones; three half-sisters, Teresa Williams, Delores Hightower (Thomas) and Vera Jones; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, January 31, 2026 at 12 Noon from the Chapel of Howerton Funeral Home with Rev. Rodney Forrest, Eulogist. Interment will follow in the Fitzgerald Family Cemetery.

The family will receive visitors at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Conwallace Fitzgerald, 922 Hickory Road, Chatham, VA from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. daily.
