Ossie Johnson

Mrs. Ossie Johnson, 96, of 6028 Kenridge Circle, Danville, VA, passed away on May 9, 2021 in the Carriage Hill Health and Rehab Center in Fredericksburg, VA.

She was the daughter of the late Fine Fitzgerald and the late Sular Lovelace Fitzgerald. She was married to the late James Henry Johnson.

She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and a member of Shockoe Courts of Calanthe. She was formerly employed by Roman Eagle Nursing Home in Danville, VA.

She is survived by four sons Howard Johnson (Bernadette) of Spotsylvania, VA, Larry Johnson (Daphne) of Danville, VA, Sherman Johnson (Juanita) of Oxen Hill, MD, and Michael Johnson ( Linda) of Landover, MD,; one daughter Jean Banks of Danville, VA,; four grandchildren, one great-grandchild; one brother Omie Fitzgerald of Landover, MD,; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A graveside service for Mrs. Ossie Johnson will be held on Thursday May 13, 2021 at 1p.m.from Highland Burial Park by Rev. Doris Morrison.
