Norma Bailey

Mrs. Norma Baily, 69, of 8022 Timberlake Rd., Apt. 8., Lynchburg, Virginia departed this earthly life Monday, June 29, 2026 in UVA Medical Center.

She was born October 30, 1956 in Lynchburg, VA. She was the daughter of the late James and Irene Craft Hunt. She was also preceded in death by her son, Marco Bailey, her grandchild, Legend Tucker, and brothers, John E. Craft, Esther and Curtis Hunt.

She was employed by Wal-Mart as a stocker.

She leaves to cherish her memory her son; Timothy Bailey (Syreeta) of New Jersey; four daughters, Melinda Hunt of Gretna, VA, Britian Bailey of Forest, VA, Kendra Bailey of Lynch Station, VA and Tyronica Tucker (Jeremey) of Lynchburg, VA; six grandchildren; Ronald (Rudy) Taylor (Quanisha), Tamia Bailey, Timothy Bailey, Jr., Alon Freeman, Jakariya (Kari) Brown, Esaiah Tucker; three great grandchildren; Keavion, Keandre and Kenzie Taylor; a special niece; Tammy Hunt; a brother, Carol Hunt of Hurt, VA and a sister, Loretta Robinson of Altavista, VA; a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

A memorial service will be held Sunday, July 5, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. from New Bethel Baptist Church, Hurt, VA with Bishop Donnell Johnson, Eulogist.
