Michael Jones

Mr. Michael Jones, 57, of 1585 Mill Creek road, Chatham, Virginia passed away Thursday, December 20, 2018 at his residence.
Michael was born August 16, 1961 in Pittsylvania County, Virginia. He was the son of the late Harrison Jones, and Gazettal Womack Jones, who survives.
He was a member of Clarkstown Presbyterian Church. Michael attended Pittsylvania County Schools and was a graduated from the Art Institute of America in Atlanta, GA.
Survivors include his mother, Gazetta Womack Jones of the residence; two brothers, Wendell J. Jones (Phyllis), of Stockbridge, GA and Jeffrey L. Jones (Phyllis) of College Park, GA; one niece Wendy Jones and two great nephews, JaDuan Jones and Kendall Beneby; other relatives and friends.
Funeral service will be conducted Thursday, December 27, 2018 at 1 p.m. from Greater Triumph Missionary Baptist Church by Rev. Michael K. Ferrell. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
Viewing will be Wednesday 4-7 p.m. from the funeral home.
