Luther Wilson

Luther Wilson, 62, of 176 Jackson Lane Chatham, Virginia departed this life Monday, December 9, 2019 in SOVAH Hospital in Martinsville, Virginia.

He was born February 13, 1957 in Pittsylvania County, Virginia. He was the son of the late Grief Wilson and the late Alice Chaney Wilson. He was married to Betty Jean Wilson who predeceased him. He was employed with Colombia Forest, and Pittsylvania County School Board. He was a member of the Cherrystone Baptist Church.

He leaves to cherish his memories two sons; Jerrell Wilson of Appomattox, Va., and Brandon Wilson of Danville, Va., one brother Charles Wilson(Arron) of Keeling, Va., two sisters Deloris Johnson of Chatham, Va., and Vinia Mae Wilson of Chatham, Va.; one grandchild and a host of nieces and nephews .

Funeral service will be Friday December 20, 2019 at l p.m. from Cherrystone Baptist Church by Bishop Donald Johnson. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Viewing will be Thursday from 4-6 p.m. from the Chapel of Howerton Funeral Home.
