Luther Eugene Edmonds

Mr. Luther Eugene Edmonds, 64, of 1082 Wilson Memorial Trail, Vernon Hill, Virginia departed this life Sunday, December 3, 2017 in Halifax Regional Hospital, South Boston, VA.
Born February 28, 1953 in Halifax County, VA, he was the son of the late Walter Lee and Bazel Williams Edmonds.
He was a member of Mountain Grove Missionary Baptist Church. He was employed by Halifax County Schools as a custodian.
Survivors include sons, Keith Edmonds (Maria), Kevin Edmonds (Silvia), all of Germantown, MD, and Luther Edmonds Jr., of Richmond, VA; siblings: Chlorie Edmunds, Columbus, Ohio, Clinton Edmonds, Vernon Hill, VA and Rose Edmonds, of Dalzell, SC; four grandchildren, host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral service will be Saturday, December 9, 2017 at 12 noon at the Mountain Grove Missionary Baptist Church by Rev. Thomas L. Divens. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Viewing will be held at the church one hour prior to service.
