Louise Turner Fitzgerald

Mrs. Louise Turner Fitzgerald, 91, of 12293 Halifax Road, Java, VA departed this life Sunday Oct. 08, 2017 at the Chatham Health and Rehab Center.
She was born March 12, 1926 in Pittsylvania County. She was the daughter of the late James and Alice Cardwell Turner. She was married Charlie J. Fitzgerald who preceded her in death.
She was a member of Shockoe Baptist Church. She was retired cook from Mary❜s Dinner.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by three sons, Joe Turner, Jeffrey Fitzgerald, and Carl Turner.
She is survived by three sons, Charlie Fitzgerald of Jacksonville, FL., Roger Fitzgerald of Greensboro NC., and Michael Fitzgerald of Java, VA., one daughter Alice Gillard (Waymon) of Mt. Vernon, NY., two sisters Evelyn Turner of Danville, VA., and Annie Womack of Chester, PA., fifteen grandchildren, five great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral Service for Mrs. Fitzgerald will be held Friday October 13, 2017 at 11a.m. from Shockoe Baptist church by Rev. Raymond Ramsey. Burial will be in the Highland Burial Park, Danville, VA.
Viewing will be one hour prior to service at the church.
