Linwood Gregory

Mr. Linwood Earl Gregory, 66 of 385 Beverly Heights Rd., Chatham, Virginia departed this life Sunday, February 23, 2025 in Centra Lynchburg General Hospital.

He was born May 13, 1958 in Pittsylvania County, Virginia.  He was the son of the late Linwood Gregory and Judith Keatts Gregory, who survives.

He was educated in the Pittsylvania County School System. He was a licensed welder and was employed by Goodyear and Abbott Laboratory for many years.

He was a member of Seventh Day Adventist.

In addition to his mother of the residence, he leaves to cherish his memory a son, Steve Bud Gregory; siblings, Kenneth (Geneva) of Toledo, OH, Ronald (Cherry) of Danbury, CT, Carlton of Sebring, FL and Leonard Gregory (Darla) of Newport News, VA, Shfawn Gregory, Priscilla Witcher, Jacqueline Taylor all of Danbury, CT, Patricia Bronson of Fayetteville, NC, Laura Oaks of Chatham, VA and Doris Ann of Gretna, VA; aunts, uncles, a  host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, March 8, 2025 at 12:00 Noon from the Chapel of Howerton Funeral Home with Rev. Glen Allen, Eulogist.

Visitation will be one hour prior to service.
