Lillian M. Jackson

Mrs. Lillian M. Jackson, 93, of 160 Little Cherrystone Lane, Chatham, Virginia, departed this life Friday, June 7, 2019 in Virginia Baptist Hospital, Lynchburg, VA.
She was born August 14, 1925 in Pittsylvania County, Virginia. She was the daughter of the late Richard and Annie Townes Mitchell. She was married to James Jackson, who predeceased her.
She was a member Ross Street Seventh- Day Adventists Church, and was retired from Dan River Mills.
Survivors include one sister, Lettie Bowman, of Chatham, VA, a devoted niece A❜Lisa Clark and nephew Tavio Clark (Yulonda), a devoted friend Rick White, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral service for Mrs. Jackson will be Wednesday, June 12, 2019 at 1 p.m. from the Chapel of Howerton Funeral Home by Elder Fred Beck. Interment will be in Hillcrest Memorial Burial Park, Chatham.
Viewing will be one hour prior to service.
Howerton Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
