Ms. Lettie Saunders, age 98, departed this life May 29, 2019 in Lisner-Louise-Dickerson-Hurt Home, 5425 Western Avenue, Washington, D.C.
She was born March 31, 1921 in Pittsylvania County, Virginia. She was the daughter of the late James and Cordia White Saunders.
She is survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, other family and friends.
Funeral service for Ms. Saunders will be Saturday, May 8, 2019 at 12:00 noon from the Chapel of Howerton Funeral Home by Pastor Deborah Ferrell. Interment will be in Hill Crest Memorial Burial Park in Chatham.
Viewing will be one hour prior the service.
