Lacy Glass, Jr.

Mr. Lacy Glass, Jr., 80, of 1091 Glass Mill Rd., South Boston, VA departed this life Thursday, November 13, 2025 at his residence.

He was born December 17, 1944 in Halifax County, Virginia. He was the son of the late Lacy Lee and Mary Venable Glass. He was married to Martha Williams Glass, who predeceased him. He was also predeceased by his brother, Calvin Glass.

He was a veteran of the United States Army.

He was a member of Mt. Grove Missionary Baptist Church where he served as an Usher.

He leaves to cherish his memory a son, Bernard Williams (Ruby) of South Boston, VA and a daughter, Janice Glass (Kenny) of Halifax, VA; three grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; three brothers, Celus Glass (Thelma) of South Boston, VA, Stanley (Fred) Glass of Danville, VA and Clyde Glass (Andrea) of Durham, NC; five sisters; Mary Ann and Betty Glass both of South Boston, VA, Lorine Jones and Elsie Richardson (Claude) both of Danville, VA and Peggy Howerton (Gary) of Fayetteville, NC; a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

A memorial service will be conducted on Tuesday, November 18, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. from Mt. Grove Missionary Baptist Church with Elder William Howerton, Eulogist.

Howerton Funeral Home is assisting the Glass family.
