Kathalene Reeves

Mrs. Kathalene Reeves, 83, of 313 Martin Avenue, Danville, Virginia departed this life Monday, November 18, 2019 in SOVAH Health Care, Danville.

She was born February 17, 1936 in Pittsylvania County. She was the daughter of the late Roberta Myers. She was married to Billy Reeves, who predeceased her.

Kathalene was a member of White Oak Grove Baptist Church and a member of the Senior Choir, and was retired from Hooker Furniture Company.

Survivors include two daughters, Voliet Logan and Charlotte Thompson, both of Danville; two brothers Irvin Myers, of Danville and Roy Myers (Junita) of Brookneal; two sisters, Lillian Myers and Nannie Kirby, of Chatham, VA; 10 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, 2 sisters-in-law, 3 brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, other relatives.

Funeral service will be Tuesday, November, 26, 2019 at 1 p.m. from White Oak Grove Baptist Church by Rev. Edward L Pope. Burial will be in Highland Burial Park, Danville.
