Karen Kates Obituary
Ms. Karen Kates, 58, of 741 Moses Mill Rd, Chatham, Virginia departed this life April 19, 2022 at the residence.
She was born May 14, 1963 in Pittsylvania County, Virginia. She was the daughter of Jester and Lillie Kates Craft, who survives.
She was a member of Three Angels Message Seventh Day Adventist Church. She attended Pittsylvania County Schools.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by a brother; Jason Townes of GA, two sisters; Trina Craft of Charlotte, NC and Bonita Anderson of MD; three uncles, three aunts and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday, April 24, 2022 from the Chapel of Howerton Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Fredrick Betts, Eulogist. Viewing will be held one hour prior to service. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Burial Park.
Masks are required for all services.
