Miss. Juanita Fitzgerald, 63, of 1497 Abbott Place, Chatham, VA, departed this life on Wednesday May 5, 2021 at the residence.
She was born August 17, 1957 in Pittsylvania County, VA. She was the daughter of the late Clifton B. and Reverna Womack Fitzgerald.
She was a member of the Shockoe Missionary Baptist Church, and also a member of the Celestial Mass Choir and Missionary Ministry. She was formerly employed by Mohawk Company.
She is survived by one son LeCory Fitzgerald (Katherine) of Ft. Washington MD; three grandchildren; five brothers Clifton W. Fitzgerald (Nannie) of Blairs, VA., Dennis Fitzgerald (Lynnda), Allen Fitzgerald (Shelia), Elvis Fitzgerald (Pamela) all of Chatham, VA., and Kim Fitzgerald (Karen) of Gretna, VA.; and three sisters Elizabeth Mayo (Rev. Donald) of Blairs, VA., Velma Fitzgerald and Vicky Dillard both of the residence; 1 Uncle, 9 Aunts, 11 nieces,11 nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral arrangements for Ms. Juanita Fitzgerald will be Monday, May10, 2021 at 12:00 noon at Shockoe Baptist Church by Rev. Antonel Myler. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery.
Viewing will be from 4-7p.m. Sunday, May 9, 2021 from the Chapel Howerton Funeral Home.
