Joan Jones

Mrs. Joan Jones, 69, of 400 Hawkins Road, Chatham, Virginia, passed away Tuesday, April 16, 2024 in Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home, in Dobson , NC.

She was born October 3, 1954 in Pittsylvania County, Virginia. She was the daughter of the late Leroy and Lillie Anderson Logan. She was predeceased by her husband, Leroy Jones; three siblings, Ray and Lee Logan and Jean Clark.

She was a Jehovah Witness and worked with a Support group as a care giver.

Survivors include two daughters, Javon Jones, of Chatham, Virginia and Jameisha Hankins, of Charlotte, NC; two sisters, Mary Logan, of Danville, Virginia, and Rebecca Johnson (Theodore), of Indianapolis, Indiana; two grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, a special nephew, Larry West and other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be conducted Saturday, April 27, 2024 at 12:00 noon from the Chapel of Howerton Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Hill Crest Burial Park in Chatham.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to service.
