Jerry Lee Johnson

Mr. Jerry Lee Johnson, 69, of 292 Green Rock Branch Lane, Chatham, Virginia departed this life on Friday, February 2, 2024 at his residence.

He was born September 27, 1954 in Pittsylvania County. He was the son of the late George and Mary Lee Johnson. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, George E. Johnson.

He was a veteran of the United States Army.

Those left to cherish his memories; a son, Brandon Johnson of Clinton, MD; a brother, James Johnson (Betty) of Washington, DC; six sisters; Lola Zephir (Carlton) of Bronx, NY, Julia Carter, Delora Bobbitt (Joseph) of Chatham, VA, Georgia Wiles (Ray) of Ringgold, VA, Donna Anderson (Jerry) of Upper Marlboro, MD and Lauretta Payne (David) of Newport News, VA; a granddaughter, Sidney Johnson of Clinton, MD; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, February 10, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Howerton Funeral Home with Min. Georgia Wiles, Eulogist. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service.
