Jeannette Price

Mrs. Jeannette Fitzgerald Price, of 238 North Main Street, Chatham VA, passed away at the residence of her daughter and son-law, Kimberly and Christopher Robinson, of Danville, VA. 

She was born August 1, 1947 in Pittsylvania County she was the daughter of the late Morris and Clarine Marr Fitzgerald.  She was married to Alfonzo M. Price, who predeceased her. She was also predeceased by two brothers, Toy and John Fitzgerald and a devoted cousin, Dora Adams.

She graduated from Northside High School of Gretna, VA and attended Saint Paul’s College in Lawrenceville, VA. She was employed by Pittsylvania County School Systems for over 30 years.

She leaves to cherish her memories a devoted daughter, Kimberly Price Robinson (Christopher) of Danville, VA; five grandchildren, Kaleb, Destiny(D.J.), Chloe, Makayla and Makenzie; six brothers, Henry Fitzgerald of Georgia, Kenneth and Walter Fitzgerald of Texas, Frank and Ray Fitzgerald of Chatham, VA and Mark Fitzgerald of Blairs, VA; a sister, Rebecca F. Kelly (Rev. Charles H.) of Chesapeake, VA; three sisters-in-law, a devoted friend and caregiver, Janice Price; a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, December 29, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Howerton Funeral Home with Rev. Charles H. Kelly, Eulogist. Viewing will be one hour prior to service. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Burial Park, Chatham, VA.

Masks are required for all services.
