Jacklyn Worthy

Ms. Jacklyn Worthy, 74, of 505 Carrie Lane, Gretna, Virginia departed this life, Wednesday, February 5, 2025 at her residence.

She was born November 26, 1950 in Akron, Ohio.  She was the daughter of the late Charles and Dennie Jones Miller. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Joyace Tate and Terry McGhee.

She was a member of Cherrystone Baptist Church where she served in the Senior Choir, Women's Ministry and as Financial Secretary.

She leaves to cherish her memory a loving son, William Worthy of the residence; a sister, Hazel Clayton (Marvin) of Akron, Ohio; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday, February, 10, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. from Cherrystone Missionary

Baptist Church with Rev. Rodney Forrest, Eulogist. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be one hour prior to service.
