Gwendolyn Anderson

Mrs. Gwendolyn Anderson, 62, of 4292 Mt. Tabor Rd, Keeling, Virginia departed this life Tuesday, December 2, 2025 in SOVAH Health Danville.

She was born January 6, 1963 in Pittsylvania County, Virginia.  She was the daughter of the late William and Elnora Marable White. She was also predeceased in death by her sister, Cynthia White. She was married to Carroll Wayne (Buck) Anderson, who survives.

She was a graduate of Dan River High School.

She was a member of Mt. Grove Missionary Baptist Church where she served on the Usher board and sing in the Gospel Chorus. She was employed by Morgan Olson of Danville.

In addition to her husband, she leaves to cherish her precious memories, three sons, Adrian, Andre’ (Michelle Simms) and Avery White; three grandchildren; Amare’, Akiryn and Akyra White; a brother, Tony White; uncles, aunts; a host of family and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, December 6, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. from Mt. Grove Missionary Baptist Church with Elder William Howerton, Eulogist. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be held Friday, December 5, 2025 from 5-7 p.m. from the Chapel of Howerton Funeral Home.
