Girlie Carter Obituary

Mrs. Girlie M.E. Tunstall Carter (Sis), 83, of Bronx, NY, departed this life September 10, 2017 at the Workman Circle Multi-care Center, Bronx, NY.

She was born August 12, 1934 in Dry Fork, Virginia, the daughter of the late Willie and Georgie Ross Tunstall. She was married to the late Lloyd Carter.

She was a member of White Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church, after moving to Bronx, NY, she joined

the Sharon Baptist Church.

Survivors include two sisters, Lottie Young, Washington, DC and Annie Carter, Bronx, NY., nieces, nephew other relatives and friends.

Funeral services are incomplete.

Howerton Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
