Fannie J. Glass

Mrs. Fannie J. Glass, 91, of Chester, PA, passed away on April 21, 2018 in the Colonial Park Care Center, Chester, PA.
She was born November 14, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Neva and Hortense Mayo Jones. She was married to Herman Glass, who preceded her in death.
In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by a son, Kenneth I. Glass, her adopted parents, John and Maude Turner, a sister and three brothers.
She was a member of Shockoe Baptist Church and later Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Steelton, PA. She was employed by the Federal Government for over 40 years.
She is survived by her niece, Marie (Peggy) Chivis (Ronnie), brother Griffin Turner (Earnestine), nephew, Johnathan Carter (Bonnie), brother-in-law, Charlie Glass, other relatives and friends.
Funeral service will be Monday, April 30, 2018 at 11 a.m. from Shockoe Baptist Church by Rev. Antonel Myler. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
