Eula A. Fitzgerald

Mrs. Eula A. Fitzgerald, 93, of 1610 Hickory Road, Chatham, Virginia departed this life Wednesday, December 4, 2019 in Lynchburg General Hospital.

She was born January 10, 1926 in Pittsylvania County, Virginia, the daughter of the late Willie and South Dakota Anderson. She was married to Russell Fitzgerald, who predeceased her.

She was a member of Cherrystone Baptist Church.

Survivors include three sons Conwallace Fitzgerald (Patricia), Russell Fitzgerald, both of Chatham, and James D. Fitzgerald, of Danville, VA ; three daughters, Deloris Harris (Tony), Arletha Robinson (Michael), of Chatham, VA, and Pearl Fitzgerald, of Atlantic, GA; 39 grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren, great- great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be Sunday December 8, 2019 at 2 p.m. from the Chapel of Howerton Funeral home by Rev. Antonel Myler. Burial will be in the Fitzgerald Family Cemetery.

Viewing will be Saturday from 4-7 p.m. at the funeral home. The family will be present from 6-7 p.m.
