Mr. Earl Nathaniel Logan, 71, of Danville, Virginia departed this life, Tuesday, September 3, 2024 in Riverside Health and Rehabilitation Center in Danville.
He was born October 4, 1952 in Pittsylvania County, Virginia. He was the son of the late William E. and Sarah Womack Logan. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Tammy Cobbs. He was married to Victorian Logan.
He was a member of Shockoe Missionary Baptist Church, a member of the Shockoe Male Chorus and Senior Choir.
He attended Pittsylvania County Public Schools. He was employed by Diamond Paper Company.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Duvonne Logan of Greensboro, NC; a sister, Iris Foster of Blairs, VA; three grandchildren, Donte Cobbs, Tyus Cobbs both of Danville, VA and Davonte Logan of Greensboro, NC; one great grandson, Tymir Pettus of Danville, VA; a niece, LaToya McKenzie and nephew, Devin McKenzie (Teisha) both of Danville, VA; other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, September 7, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. from Shockoe Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Antonel A. Myler, Sr., Eulogist. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be Friday, September 6, 2024 from 4-6 from the Chapel of Howerton Funeral Home.
