Donald Anderson

Mr. Donald Anderson, 58, of Chatham, Virginia passed away Tuesday, May 30, 2017 in Lynchburg General Hospital.

Born April 11, 1959 in Pittsylvania County, he was the son of the late Cubie and Barbara Anderson. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Timothy Ray Anderson.

He was a member of Watson Level Baptist Church and was employed by Crider Tire Service and Chatham Hall.

Survivors include two daughters, Sholonda Word, (Leon) and Jessica Anderson, both of Chatham, VA; three grandchildren; two sisters, Kimberly Kornegay and Kathy Taylor (James), both of Chatham; three brothers, Dennis Miller (Linda), of Richmond, Jeffrey Miller, of Gretna, and Benjamin Luck, of Ohio; two uncles, four aunts, other relatives and friends.

Funeral service for Mr. Anderson will be conducted Saturday, June 3, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Howerton Funeral Home by Rev. Prince Anna Craft. Interment will be in Hillcrest Burial Park.

Viewing will be Friday from 4-7 p.m. at the funeral home; the family will be present from 6-7 p.m.
