Cylonia Hubbard

Mrs. Cylonia Hubbard, 74, of 3108 Renan Rd., Gretna, Virginia passed away Sunday, March 5, 2023 at Autumn Care of Altavista.

She was born July 27, 1948 in Pittsylvania County, Virginia. She was the daughter of the late Bossie and Almedia Lovelace Logan. She was married to Berlie Hubbard, who survives. She was also predeceased by her sister, Shirley Harris.

She was a member of Mt. Airy Baptist Church. She was by employed by BGF Fiberglass for 36 years.

In addition to her husband of the residence, she leaves to cherish her memories two sons, Marichal Hubbard (Lillian) of Fayetteville, NC and Tremayne Hubbard (Tana) of Abilene, TX; two daughters, Melissa Poindexter (Keith) of Hurt, VA and Devona Hubbard (Nikki) of San Antonio, TX; nine grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, two brothers, Bossie Logan, Jr. (Joyce) of Riceville, VA and Harold Logan of Hurt, VA; a sister, Jerdean Luck (Earnest) of Vernon Hill, VA; an aunt, Mattie Plunkett, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, March 10, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. from Mt. Airy Baptist Church with Rev. Larry Patterson, Eulogist. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be held March 9, 2023 from 3-7 p.m. from the Chapel of Howerton Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers make donations to Autumn Care of Altavista, 1317 Lola Ave. Altavista, VA 24517.

Masks are required for all services.
