Cory Williams

Cory Williams, 55, departed this life Saturday 14, 2024 in Lafayette, Indiana.

He was born August 9, 1969 in Halifax County. He was the son of the late Richard Marable (B.B.) and Sandra Ann Williams.

At an early age he joined Mountain Grove Missionary Baptist Church and attended the public schools in Halifax County.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by a daughter, Shakira Walker of Greensboro, NC; four brothers, Demetrius Williams(Lemettris) of Richmond, VA, Lamont Williams of South Boston, VA, Douglas and Richard Coles both of Washington, DC; a sister, Lisa Williams-Simpson (James) of Patterson, N.J., two granddaughters, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday, September 23, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. from the Chapel of Howerton Funeral Home with Elder William Howerton, Eulogist.

Howerton Funeral Home is assisting the Williams and Marable family.
