Clifton Price

Mr. Clifton Price, 67, of 1756 Concord Road, Chatham, Virginia passed away Wednesday, February 6, 2019 in Centra Gretna Medical Center.
He was born July 9, 1951 in Pittsylvania County, Virginia. He was the son of the late Coil Price and the late Alberta Wimbush Price. He was married to Joann Price who survives. He was employed as a truck Driver.
He is survived by his wife Joann Price of the residence; one son, Clifton Price, Jr. of Chatham, VA; two daughters, Kendra Wheeler and Karon Price both of Chatham, VA; five sisters, Elizabeth Whiting of Washington, DC, Virginia Coussa of Colfax, NC, Beatrice Carter of Delaware, Patricia Taylor of Danville, VA and Alberta Freda Hollis of Delaware; seven grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers, David Price, Edward Price, Curtis Price, James Price and one sister, Mary Burton.
Funeral Services for Mr. Clifton Price will be conducted Monday, February 11, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. from Antioch Baptist Church by Rev. Pricilla Wizzard. Interment will follow in the Family Cemetery.
Viewing will be held on Sunday, February 10, 2019 from 4-7 p.m. at the chapel of Howerton Funeral Home.
