Chief Apostle Willie Giggetts, 67, of 384 Bennett Lane, Chatham, Virginia departed this life Monday, November 11, 2019 at his residence.
He was born August 9, 1952 in Pittsylvania County, Virginia. He was the son of the late Eddie and Edna Oakes Giggetts. He was married to Nadine Martin Giggetts, who survives.
He was the Pastor of Power Deliverance Pentecostal Holiness Church in Chatham, VA, and a member the Universal World Wide Organization. He was a bus driver for Pittsylvania County Schools.
In addition to his wife he is survived by one son, Willie Giggetts Jr. (Sherrie), Rocky Mt., Virginia, two daughters, Takeisha and Kasheva Giggetts, both of Chatham, VA; 10 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren;
six sisters, Lucille Reeves, Gretna, VA, Alice Nibblett , Sarah Whittle, Edna White, Eunice Giggetts, all of Chatham, and Eula Carter (William), Danville, VA; one half- brother, Gerald Berger, of Chatham; one aunt, Hattie Lyles, Philadelphia, PA; 2 sisters-in-law, Sarah Younger, and Racheal Walker; 4 brothers-in-law, Michael, John, Thomas and Wilbert Martin; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral service will be Friday, November 15, 2019 at 2 p.m. from Truevine Pentecostal Holiness Church by Apostle Dennis Belcher. Interment will be in Bell Grove Church Cemetery, Chatham.
The family is at the residence, 384 Bennett Lane, Chatham.
