Charlie Murrell, Jr.

Mr. Charlie Murrell Jr., 69 of 675 Hollyville Dr., Dry Fork, Virginia, departed this life Friday, April 7, 2023 in SOVAH Health, Danville, VA.

He was born October 15, 1953 in Pittsylvania County, Virginia.  He was the son of the late Charlie Sr., and Lydia Murrell.

Survivors include a daughter, Jacqueline Murrell of Richmond, Virginia, a sister, Laverne Murrell of Dry Fork, VA; three nieces, two nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held Friday, April 14, 2023 from 4-6 p.m. from the Chapel of Howerton Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, April 15, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Howerton Funeral Home with Rev. Reggie Carter, Eulogist. Interment will follow in the Murrell Family Cemetery, Dry Fork, Virginia. 

Masks are required for all services.
