Carol Swann

Ms. Carol Ann Swann, 63, of 97 Ida Street, Danville, VA, passed away, Friday, October 13, 2023 at SOVAH Health, Danville, VA.

She was born May 20, 1960 in Portsmouth, VA. She was the daughter of the late Armstead Henry Swann, Sr. and Barbara Ann Tucker Swann. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by one sister, Myrna Foster; one brother, Armstead Swann, Jr.

Those left to cherish her memories are two daughters, Lanay Swann and Teonia Swann both of Danville, VA; five grandchildren, Rylen, Nyzir, Aviyanna, Donte and Deztin; one sister, Sharon Mills (Richard) of Danville, VA; two brothers, Julian Swann (Eunice) and Darol Swann (her twin) both of Upper Marlboro, Maryland; her brother-in-law, Jerry Foster of Colonial Heights, Virginia and a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 24, 2023 from 4-6p.m. at Evening Light Cathedral.

Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, October 25, 2023 at 12 Noon from Evening Light Cathedral, 130 Bradley Rd. Danville, VA with Bishop F.B. Kidd, Eulogist. Interment will follow in the Highland Burial Park, Danville, VA.

The family will receive friends at the residence of her sister, Sharon Mills, 1237 Lockett Drive, Danville, VA.
