Bryant Shelton

Mr. Bryant Shelton, 44, of 6045 Kenridge Circle, Danville, Virginia departed this life July 4, 2022 in Centra Gretna Medical Center.

He was born August 11, 1977 in New York. He was the son of James Harris and Elizabeth Shelton Whiting, who survives. He was predeceased by a brother, Charles Shelton and a sister, Monica Shelton. He was married to Stephanie Shelton.

He was employed by Chatham Health and Rehab.

In addition to his loving wife, he is survived by his parents, James Harris of Mt. Vernon, New York and Elizabeth (Ralph) Whiting of Washington, D.C.;  two sons, Bryant James Shelton of Maryland and Dee Edwards and a daughter, Emerie Edwards of the residence; a brother, Jeffrey Shelton (Monica) of Washington, D.C.; a sister, Jennifer Perez ( Ramon) of Maryland, a mother-in-law, Gwendolyn M. Edwards of Danville, VA; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday, July 10, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Howerton Funeral Home with Dr. James Pettus, Eulogist. Interment will follow in the Price Family Cemetery, Chatham, Virginia. Viewing will be held Saturday, July 9, 2022 4-6 p.m. from the Chapel of Howerton Funeral Home.

Masks are required for all services.
