Billy Wilson

Mr. Billy Wilson, 67, of 1152 North Main Street, Chatham, Virginia, passed away Thursday, July 13, 2017 at his residence.

He was born December 18, 1949 in Pittsylvania County, Virginia. He was the son of the late Geraldine Wilson and the late Robert Luck. He was married to Angel Wilson, who survives.

He was a member of Shockoe Baptist Church, a member of Shockoe Male Ensemble and a member of the Food Bank program.

Two siblings, Ruth Word and Larry Wilson predeceased him.

In addition to his wife and grandchild, he is survived by two brothers, Harry Wilson (Gloria), Upper Marlboro, MD, and Rowlen Wilson, New Carrolton, MD; five sisters, Patty Walker (Curtis), Shirley Wilson, both of Chatham, Barbara Goggins (Bennie), Colonial Heights, VA, Linda Wilson, Danville, VA, Dianne Wilson, Hopewell, VA, other relatives and friends.

Funeral service for Mr. Wilson will be conducted Monday, July 17, 2017 at 11 a.m. from Shockoe Baptist Church by Rev. Antonel Myler.

Viewing will be Sunday from 4-7 p.m. from the Chapel of Howerton Funeral Home.

The family is at the residence of his sister, Shirley Wilson, 725 North Main Street, Chatham, VA.
