Mrs. Bessie Giggetts Stephens Hall, 100, of 817 Blair Lane passed Saturday, August 4, 2018 at SOVAH Health of Danville, VA. Mrs. Hall was the daughter of the late Major and Lizabeth Carter Giggetts.
Mrs. Hall was a member of Greater Triumph Missionary Baptist Church and a full time home-maker.
Survivors include three daughters, Rosa Ann Fitzgerald and Gladys Fizgerald (Mike) of Blairs, VA; and
Betty Davis (Charles) of Dry Fork: one sister Ethel Fitzgerald of Danville; a devoted granddaughter LilWanda Stephens; 58 grandchildren, 105 great-grandchildren, 6 great great-grandchildren and other relatives.
Funeral services for Mrs. Hall will be conducted, Friday, August 10, 2018 from Greater Triumph Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Michael K. Ferrell officiating. Interment will follow in the church Cemetery.
The viewing will be from 4:00 to 7:00 with the family present from 6:00 - 7:00 p.m. at Howerton Funeral Home, Chatham, Virginia. The family is in the residence, 1105 Mason Dr. Blairs.
