Beatrice Kinzer

Ms. Beatrice Kinzer, 68 of Washington, D.C., passed away Friday, December 28, 2018 at her residence.
She was born March 21, 1950 in Pittsylvania County, Virginia to the late Nathaniel Barksdale Sr. and the late Luevinia Irvin Barksdale. She was married to Clarence Kinzer, who predeceased her.
Beatrice was also predeceased by two sons, Jeffery Barksdale and James Calloway; six siblings, Carlton J. Carter, Nathaniel, Ray, Jack and Curtis Barksdale and Glory Charles.
Survivors include one brother, James (Mickey) Barksdale, of Waldorf, MD; three sisters, Dale Carter, of Danville, VA, Emily and Edith Barksdale, both of Chatham, VA; two grandchildren, two sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral service will be conducted Saturday, January 5, 2019 at 1 p.m. from Greater Triumph Missionary Baptist Church by Rev. Otelia M. Barksdale. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Burial Park, Chatham.
Viewing will be one hour prior to service at the church.
The family is at the residence of Emily Barksdale, 26 Pine Street, Chatham.
