Aroon Wilson

Mrs. Aroon Wilson, of 1201 Keeling Dr., Keeling, Virginia passed away Monday, October 14, 2024 in Danville, Virginia.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Wilson and daughter, Pam Wilson.

Born in Thailand, Aroon was proud to have become a U.S. Citizen, bringing with her the rich traditions of the homeland. A lifelong practitioner of the Buddhist faith, she found peace and solace in her spiritual practice. Aroon had a deep love for all animals, and her compassion extended to all living beings.

Aroon is survived by her loving son, Bornarre Glare (Rena); seven grandchildren; Levonte Wilson, Kelvisha Womack, Drake Glare, Devin Womack, Quinton Newby, Zechariah Johnson, and Antonio Johnson, Jr.; two great-grandchildren, Jonathan Newby and Kesalynn Newby.

She was known for her love of cooking and gardening, often sharing her culinary skills with family and friends, and cultivating beautiful gardens filled with life.

Aroon will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Her kindness, gentle spirit, and dedication to her family and faith will be remembered for generations.

A private family service will be held in her honor.
