Mrs. Arlita Vaden Lovelace 65 of 145 Oakwood Circle Danville, Virginia, passed away on Friday February 19, 2021, at her residence.
She was born December 3, 1955, to Charlie Vaden Sr. and the late Rosa Richerson Vaden.
She was of the Baptist Faith. She was formerly employed with the Pittsylvania County Community Revenue Service, and was retired from the Danville Police Department.
She was predeceased by one brother McDonald Vaden.
She leaves to cherish her memories her husband Ronnie Lovelace of the home; two sons Kevin Smith (Monica) of Danville, VA, and Keith Smith (Chrystal) of Greensboro, NC; two grandchildren Kaylah Dillard of Danville, VA and Kamryn Smith of Greensboro, NC; six siblings, Rosa Stephens (Jayvester) of Chatham, VA, Charlie L. Vaden Jr, ( Yvonne) of Halifax, VA, Millicent Motely of Chatham, VA, Elanie Bennett (Hugh) of Blairs, VA, Paulena Vaden (Leslie) of Chatham, VA, and Elena Logan (Darrell) of Java, VA, host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
Funeral service for Mrs. Arlita Lovelace will be Wednesday February 24, 2021 at 1pm from the Chapel of Howerton Funeral Home by Rev. Ronald J. Rodgers. Burial will follow in the Lovelace family cemetery, in Halifax, Virginia.
A viewing will be held Tuesday February 23, 2021 from 4-7pm. from Howerton Funeral Home.
