Anthony Davis Obituary

Mr. Anthony “Tony” Davis, 70, of 357 N. Main St. Chatham, VA departed this life on Sunday, January 29, 2023 in SOVAH Health of Danville.

He was born May 13, 1952 in Pittsylvania County to the late Robert C. and Nellie Minter Davis. He was married to Geraldine Davis, who survives. He was also predeceased by his siblings, Katherine Ferrell, Gloria Goggins, Sharon Bennett, Timothy and Fred C. Davis.

He was educated in the Pittsylvania County Public Schools.

In addition to his wife of the residence he leaves to cherish his memories one son; Anthony R. Davis, Jr of Chatham, VA; six daughters, Jessica, Mia and Kia Davis of Chatham, VA, Jessica Coleman of South Boston, VA, Tonnita Davis-McNeal of Danville, VA and Krystal Davis Isaac of Gretna, VA; two brothers, Robert C. Davis Jr. (Carrie) of Thornton, Colorado and Donald R. Davis, of Gretna, VA; five sisters, Irene Patrick, of Delaware, Linda Miller (Dennis) and Jamie Smith (Jeffrey) of Richmond, VA, Mildred Davis (Howard) of Chatham VA, Rachel Hunt of Gretna, VA, a host of other relatives and friends.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
