Mr. Alphonso Jackson 66, of 1473 Mill Creek Road, Chatham, Virginia departed this life August 29, 2017 in Centra Medical Center in Gretna, Virginia.
He was born February 2, 1951 in Washington, DC. He was the son of the late Harold and Alice Robinson Jackson. He was married to Brenda B. Jackson, who survives.
He was a member of Three Angels Message Seven -Day Adventist Church in Danville, VA, and was employed by the Pittsylvania County Community Action (PCCA) as a truck driver.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Anthony Jackson, of the residence; three sisters-in-law, six brothers-in-law, other relatives and friends.
Funeral service for Mr. Jackson will be conducted Sunday September 3, 2017 at 1pm; at the Three Angels Message Seven -Day Adventist Church by Pastor John Coaxum. Viewing will be one hour prior to service.
Burial will be at the Bell Grove Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Chatham VA.
Family will receive visitors at the residence 1473 Mill Creek Road Chatham, VA.
